Tunga Mata Trek (Mandi)

Tunga Mata Temple lies at height of 2935 meter with 10 Km from Prashar Lake and 12-15 KM (not scale) from Jwalapuri Village, Mandi Kullu Highway.

The Temple was build by Pandava (Mahabharata era) from a Single Stone. No-body cook or eat rice in Temple complex as per Villager in favor of earlier mythology. 

In front of the Temple there is a Goddess Kali-Mata's IDOL just near there is some 6 inch hole you can see water in the same hole which is actually a blood of  "Bali/Sacrifice" done over there.

This trek can be done with Prashar Lake trek as it is 10-12 km from Prashar . As this trek can be made more adventures by cooking food at out side ,camp fire ,full enjoyment with local over there and with the natural beauty.

Season:  November, December are best to go (its open for all season except rainy season)

Max. Elevation:  2995 meter

Duration of the Trek:  4 days max   (including Prashar lake trek)

Trek Gradient :  Medium
